Baseball Mascot Makes Young Deaf Boy’s Day By Signing To Him

Last weekend Cheri and Matt Samworth took their hearing-impaired son, Hunter, to a Dayton Dragons baseball game in Dayton, Ohio. They arrived to the stadium early and were greeted by the team’s mascot, Heater. Hunter signed, “nice to meet you!”, to Heater, and to everyone’s surprise, Heater signed back. The Samworth’s say it’s a moment they will never forget.
