Last year Vas Alli spent a month looking through 10,000 vintage teddy bears online, with hopes of finding clues to reconstruct his fiancée Jessica’s childhood teddy bear named ‘Whitey’. Over the years Whitey lost his eyes, his nose, an ear and half his stuffing, he was eventually packed away after his head was ripped off. Alli took Whitey and all his pieces to Secaucus Doll and Teddy Bear Hospital, had him restored to his former glory, then surprised his fiancée.
