University of Plymouth professor Roy Lowry demonstrates what happens when you pour liquid nitrogen into a bottle and cap the bottle. Dr. Lowry pours a bucket of water into a trash can, places the capped liquid nitrogen bottle in the water and tops it off with 1,500 ping pong balls. When the liquid nitrogen turns to a gas the bottle explodes sending the 1,500 ping pong balls flying. Process begins at 3:35.
