Man Falls 70 Feet Into A Mountain Crevasse And Creates Video Diary Of His Escape

[NSFW-Graphic Content,Language] Earlier this week 44-year-old John All, a Geology professor at Western Kentucky University, was conducting climate research on Mount Himlung in Nepal when he fell into a 70-foot crevasse. He survived the fall, but suffered a broken arm, six broken ribs, and a dislocated shoulder. Incredibly, after six hours of climbing, he made it out of the icy crevasse on his own strength. After his rescue, All posted videos of his escape to Facebook and described it as “one of life’s hardest moments.”
