Heartwarming Story Of A Disabled Boy And A Three-Legged Dog Who Changed Each Other’s Lives

In January 2012, a 5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd named Haatchi was tied to a railway line in North London and was hit by a train. Haatchi lost most of his tail and one of his legs had to be amputated. Six weeks later Haatchi was adopted by the Howkins family and instantly formed a bond with 7-year-old Owen who has Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder which causes his muscles to be permanently tense. Little did they know Haatchi and Owen would end up rescuing each other. This is Owen and Haatchi’s heartwarming story, which has also become a book, Haatchi And Little B.
