Hawthorne, California Police Arrest A Man For ‘Obstructing An Investigation’ And Shoot His Dog

[NSFW – Very Disturbing Content] A crowd of spectators gathered on the corner of Jefferson Ave and 137th street Sunday evening to watch the Hawthorne Police Department respond to an armed robbery call. 52-year-old Leon Rosby pulled up and filmed the scene with his 130-pound, 3-year-old Rottweiler named Max. The loud music playing from Rosby’s vehicle initiated the officers to arrest him for ‘obstructing an investigation’. While complying with the officers, Max jumps out of the car’s rear window and heads towards them. Another officer comes over and tries to grab his leash, Max jumps up and the officer shoots him several times. Rosby said ‘Max was only protecting his master. He was trying to stop them from beating on me. All he did was love me.’ Rosby is now in the process of filing a suit against the Hawthorne Police Department for killing his dog.
