Girl With Down Syndrome Stars In Finalist Video For Katy Perry’s ‘Roar’ Contest

Katy Perry and Good Morning America recently challenged high schools across the country to make their own music video to Perry’s latest hit single, ‘Roar’, for a chance to win a live Katy Perry concert at their school. Verrado High School in Buckeye, Arizona entered the contest and decided to showcase one its most inspiring students, 17-year-old senior Megan Squire who was born with Down syndrome. Verrado High School’s ‘Roar’ video highlights how Megan overcame her challenges and landed a spot on the school’s cheerleading squad.
