Earth Hour 2013.

Today a record 7,000 cities in 152 countries will participate in Earth Hour 2013 by turning off the lights for one hour, 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. local time. It’s the seventh annual Earth Hour led by the World Wildlife Fund, the event was created in 2007 as an effort to raise global awareness about climate change. Famous landmarks participating include, Big Ben in London, Sydney Opera House in Australia, Empire State Building in New York City, Burj Khalifa in Dubai and more.
