Ever wonder who is the voice behind famous movie trailers? That legendary voice belongs to Donald LaFontaine, born in Duluth, Minnesota and at age 13 his voice cracked in the middle of a sentence. LaFontaine began his career as a voiceover artist at the age of 44 in 1964. In total Don has introduced 5,000 movie trailers and 750,000 television spots. In 2008 Don passed away due to complications with pneumothorax, he has forever changed how movies and television shows are introduced.
