As a random act of kindness, 5-year-old William Evertz from Winslow, New Jersey used 7 months worth of his allowance to treat the Winslow Police Department to a healthy lunch. In return, the officers gave William a day he would never forget by making him an honarary police officer. The officers also gave William a tour of the station, a goodie bag, his very own badges, and a ride home in a squad car.

This fourth grader named Kevin returned to Rodriguez Elementary in Austin, Texas this week and he is really, really excited about it. After 4th grade and 5th grade, this little guy’s off to college! Or, is it high school? Maybe it’s pre-school? Who cares… Kevin has more important things on his mind like learning math and science. Duke The Dog Re-Elected For Third Term As Mayor Of Tiny Minnesota Town
Over the weekend, during the 6th Annual Cormorant Daze, Duke, a 9-year-old Great Pyrenees, was re-elected mayor of Cormorant, a tiny town in western Minnesota. Duke was originally elected by accident via write-in votes three years ago and has held the position since. Locals also say Duke has one of the highest approval ratings in the country.

Carpenter Pulls Stapled Finger Prank Perfectly On His Co-Worker
Carpenter Jason Wolfe recently set up a hidden camera at the shop he works at in Mentor, Ohio. Wolfe then set up a scene to make it appear like he had shot a staple straight through his finger. After pressing record, Wolfe called over his co-worker Tyler for a hand with the “accident.” After uploading the video to Facebook, Wolfe said, “As funny as it was to see that, I’m actually impressed with it! He was focused on the problem and not on the situation.”

Dick Van Dyke Casually Sings ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ For Diners In Denny’s
Because no local restaurants that he knows of serves grits, 90-year-old Hollywood legend Dick Van Dyke heads over to the nearest Denny’s to appease his appetite. It just so happens that “Breakfast at Denny’s, with a side a grits” makes Van Dyke want to sing! And he did just that by performing an impromtu rendition of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” with his a cappella quartet, The Vantastix.
