Budweiser’s ad, which is a sequel to last year’s “Puppy Love” ad, features the Clydesdales, their favorite yellow lab puppy, and reworked version of “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” performed by Sleeping At Last.
In an attempt to mock Budweiser’s “Lost Dog“/”Puppy Love” Super Bowl commercial, GoDaddy got a yellow Labrador puppy of their own and created “Journey Home.” The ad, which released online Tuesday, sparked immediate backlash and was pulled from YouTube in just a few hours. The controversial ad will no longer air during Super Bowl XLIX.
