Man Surprises Bartender With $1,000 Tip To Help Pay For Her Dog’s Surgery

Last weekend, a dog-loving couple struck up a conversation with New Jersey bartender Christina Summitt after they noticed a dog paw tattooed on her arm. Summitt told the couple that her 3-year-old Lab/Great Dane mix, Tucker, was recently rushed into surgery to have a tennis ball removed from his stomach. Summitt, who works three jobs, says, she didn’t have the money for the $2,700 surgery and was willing to sell her car if she had to. But when the couple settled their $80 tab, they surprised Summitt by leaving a $1,000 tip to help pay for Tucker’s surgery.
