Last Sunday, a crew of firefighters in Vacaville, California were in a Costco checkout line about to pay for their groceries when they received an emergency call. The crew left the groceries behind and rushed to the call. When the crew returned to pay for their groceries, they were surprised to find an anonymous Air Force wife had paid their $123.25 bill and left a note. The Vacaville Firefighters Association said, “Whoever did this, we are forever grateful and your kind gesture will not be forgotten.”
